This was a large church in downtown Lansing, Michigan engulfed in flames. I was driving downtown when I noticed the huge flames up in the sky. I decided to see what was burning and drove to the scene. While I was there watching the fire and the firemen fighting the flames, I did not know that one of my uncles was also there taking pictures of the fire. I had never seen a fire like this before, because the flames seemed to be alive and chased the fireman around. One fireman was chased up and down the ladder he was on as the flames come up below him, and as he went up the ladder flames were coming down to to him. This went on for about a minute until another fireman realized what was happening and then several hoses were directed to the fireman and he slid down the ladder so fast his boots never even touched the rungs of the ladder. After this photo was developed by my uncle I could clearly see the devil in the flames in the upper right side of the photo. Can you see him? Eyes, nose, horns, mouth, and even his teeth....This is a real photograph folks! |
