| In April I ordered a rubber stamp from the stampman.com as I have in the past, but this time it was different – after 3 weeks I still hadn’t received my stamp that I ordered. When I had ordered a stamp in the past, my order has arrived within 7 to 10 days. After waiting 3 weeks for my ordered stamp, I sent e-mails to the stampman.com asking that my order be canceled – but no reply was ever returned. After about 3 e-mails with no reply, I decided to call and demand that my order be cancelled…..but the phone listed on the stampman.com web site had been disconnected and I was unable to get through. I sent one last e-mail to the stampman.com telling them that I was going to purchase a rubber stamp locally and could get one in about one week. And again I demanded that my order be cancelled and my credit card not be charged. I know these e-mails were received by the stampman.com because none of them were returned to me undeliverable by a server. So after my needs for a stamp had been fulfilled, I received a package from the stampman.com with my stamp inside. Now my credit card has been charged for a rubber stamp that I should not have received and I don’t need. This is a very poor way to treat customers and run a business – “Rather than answer my e-mail and cancel an order, I was charged for something I don’t need”. Business must be pretty bad to treat people this way. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
