NORCENT AND ALL
NORCENT PRODUCTS
February 9, 2008

I purchased a Norcent DCC-725 digital camera from TigerDirect.com. I purchased this camera for one purpose only and that was to take close ups of my items for sale and then post those pictures online at an auction site. This camera is not capable of taking clear close up shots. Every picture I have taken is blurred so badly it is not usable. I have tried every setting on this camera to try to get a picture that was in focus or good enough to use, but to no avail. So I contacted Tiger Direct to see about returning this camera for a refund but was surprised to find out that Tiger Direct will not allow returns of this item. They instruct their customers to contact the manufacturer “Norcent” for any refunds or repairs. I do not wish to have this camera repaired or replaced with another one like it because I believe they are all crap, so contacted Norcent for a refund. First off, I tried for two days to contact Norcent by phone (No one ever answers the phone). Then I tried to contact them by e-mail (Their website would not acknowledge my e-mail as a valid e-mail address, so I had to send an e-mail from my mail server (Lucky for me my server acknowledges my e-mail address as valid). It appears that these people just do not want to hear anything negative from their customers.

This camera is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen.

BUYER BEWARE
If you purchase anything from Norcent you better damn well want it and like it, because you are stuck with it!
The following is the e-mail that I sent to Norcent and the replies from them. As you can see from their e-mails, they just don’t allow you to return their cheap crap for a refund.
This is the bottom line

This manufacturer sells CRAP unfit to be sold.
