Obituary -
Leah C. Cook Hickok, youngest daughter of Thomas and Harriett Cook, was born December 25, 1873 at Logan, Ohio. She has been living at 21443 Barbara Circle. Three months ago she was taken ill, and not recovering, recently underwent an operation in Ford hospital. She departed this life November 17, 1930 at the age of 57 years. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, a son Warren Adams, and a step-son Clifford Adams of Detroit; two Nephews, J.C. White of Saint Clair Shores and C.G. White of Detroit; a father, Charles Croston of Crofton, West Virginia; two nieces, Mrs. Vera Patton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Mrs. Jesse Pettijohn of Massachusetts and also many friends and neighbors. Many years ago she became a member of the Christian church and remained a faithful member until her death. The funeral services were conducted in Wilkie's Chapel Tuesday evening at 7:30 by Rev. H. A. Brewer. The body was taken to Evart, Michigan on Wednesday for burial. Location for Leah C. Cook's grave is; Section B, Block 70, Lot #1, Grave #1 at
Forrest Hill Cemetery - Evart, Osceola, Michigan.
